Dr. Sobiya’s journey into dentistry began with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology, from the University of Melbourne, which gave her a unique understanding of the emotional aspects often associated with dental care. She later earned her Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Sydney, combining her passion for healthcare with an empathetic approach to patient treatment. Dr. Sobiya feels privileged that the current owner, Dr. Christopher Gliddon, has entrusted her with the clinic and its loyal patient base. To facilitate a smooth transition, Dr. Gliddon will remain at the clinic for the next six months, working alongside Dr. Sobiya and continuing to care for patients. On the 1st of February 2025, the clinic will begin an exciting new chapter as Ivanhoe Smiles. This rebranding celebrates its rich history while embracing the future. The charm of the current building will be preserved, but plans are in place for tasteful refurbishments to modernize the space, creating a welcoming and family-friendly boutique environment.
